Miguel Bernús currently pursues his Ph.D. studies at Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona) under the supervision of Dr. Omar Boutureira. He graduated from the same university in 2017, and then he carried out his master’s degree at the ICIQ in Prof. Melchiorre’s laboratories focusing on photo-organocatalytic enantioselective cascade reactions. His Ph.D. project concerns the preparation of new reagents for the incorporation of fluorinated motifs into organic molecules. During his placement in the Noël group, Miguel will focus on the application of flow technologies for the preparation and introduction of fluorine-containing fragments.
