Stefan Zondag was born in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, in 1996. He received both his B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry (2018) and his M.Sc. degree in Chemical and Process Technology (2020) at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). During his Master he conducted research at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern-Ireland, focused on hydrodynamic and acoustic cavitation technology. He finished his Master thesis on application and simulation of ultrasonic devices at the group of Micro Flow Chemistry & Synthetic Methodology in Eindhoven under the supervision of Prof. Timothy Noël. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate at the Van ‘t Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences, working on modelling of photochemical reactors.
