Wouter de Smet was born in Oostburg, the Netherlands, in 1991. In 2013, he received his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology. His Bachelor thesis was conducted in the group of prof. dr. Christian Müller. He is currently a master student in the field of Chemical Process Technology and working on his Master thesis in the Noël research group.
