Zhengya Dong received his B.Sc. degree in Physics from Jilin University in 2010. After that, he had one year master courses study in Physical Chemistry at USTC (University of Science and Technology of China). In 2016, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Guangwen Chen. Next, he left China and worked as a postdoc at KU Leuven hosted by Prof. Simon Kuhn. He was a postdoc researcher at TU/e under the supervision of Prof. Timothy Nöel. His research interests include flow chemistry, novel reactor development, process intensification and ultrasound (sonochemistry).
