Chiara De Luca was born and raised in Naples, Italy. She obtained her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Naples Federico II in 2024. Her Master’s thesis, carried out under the supervision of Prof. Mariateresa Giustiniano, focused on investigating aromatic isonitriles as sustainable photocatalysts for the synthesis of multicomponent adducts. In 2025, she completed a six-month Erasmus+ traineeship at the University of Amsterdam under the supervision of Prof. Timothy Noël, where she worked on light-mediated B-alkyl Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling between alkyl boranes and alkenyl triflates. In 2026, she joined the PhD program in the Noël Research Group at the UvA.
