
Elisabeth Reischauer was born in Grieskirchen, Austria. She obtained her BSc. degree in Chemistry from Graz University of Technology. Her bachelor’s thesis was conducted at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interface (Germany) under the supervision of Dr. John Molloy, focusing on boron protecting groups to access borylated photoactive functional materials. She subsequently pursued her MSc. degree in Chemistry from University of Graz, specializing in synthesis, catalysis and sustainable chemistry. Her master’s thesis was dealing with the synthesis of pharmaceutical excipients in continuous flow under the supervision of Prof. Oliver C. Kappe. In 2026 she moved to the Netherlands to begin her PhD as a member of the Noël Research Group (NRG) at the UvA, under the supervision of Prof. Timothy Noël, where she joined the RoboChem team.
