Rossella Catanzaro grew up in a small town near Bari, in southern Italy. In 2023, she obtained her BSc degree in Chemistry from the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”. Her bachelor’s thesis, entitled “Tandem Carbocyclization and Cross-Coupling Reactions of β-Diesteric α-Acetylenic Compounds Catalyzed by Nanostructured Palladium in Ionic Liquids”, was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Monopoli and Prof. Nacci. In the same year, she began her MSc program in Chemical Sciences at the University of Bari, where she continues to deepen her knowledge and research skills in the field of chemistry. As of November 2025, she has joined the Noël Research Group for her final research rotation.
