Clara Vega was born in 1997 in Le Havre (France). She received her BSc. in Organic Synthesis in 2019 from the University of Le Havre. After that, she realized the first year of her MSc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Nantes University and the second year in Molecular and Therapeutical Chemistry supervised by the Pr. François-Xavier Felpin. Her first internship was focused on the synthesis of new nitrogen heterocycles and their functionalization, under the supervision of Dr. Arnaud Tessier and Pr. Jacques Lebreton (CEISAM UMR 6230 CNRS-Nantes Université), in partnership with Janssen laboratories. During her second year of MSc. she completed a 6 month industrial internship at Sanofi Chimie Sisteron, where she developed a new synthetic route for a pharmaceutical compound using cheap and available metal catalysts and photochemistry. After this internship she graduated with her MSc and was hired for 4 months at Sanofi Chimie as a chemist in the automation platform in design of experiment. Since January 2023, she is a PhD student in the Noël research group, within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Curie ITN GreenDigiPharma.
