Emil Hodžić was born in 2001 in Amsterdam. In 2022 he obtained his Bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His Bachelor’s thesis was about the synthesis and utilization of a sphere template for the supramolecular binding of dyes and hydrogen evolution catalysts to achieve efficient artificial photosynthesis. Emil is currently in his second year of the ‘Molecular Science’ track of the Master Chemistry at the UvA/VU. For his minor research project Emil joined the Noël Research Group to work on the Minisci reaction with volatile alkanes in flow, together with Prakash Tiwari and Antonio Pulcinella.
