Grace is from the UK and graduated from here PhD in 2019. During her PhD she specialised in electrochemistry of polyoxometalate materials for energy storage. Grace then received the BMBF Professorin II post-doctoral scholarship to start a post-doctoral position in the group of Prof. Carsten Streb at Ulm University. There she used electrochemistry and spectroelectrochemistry to study polyoxovanadates for energy storage, and materials for photochemical water-splitting in collaboration with the German research cluster CataLight. Grace then moved to work with Prof. Marc Robert and Prof. Julien Bonin on photochemical carbon dioxide reduction at L’aboratoire Electrochimie de Moleculaire in Paris. After COVID Grace worked as part of the data science team for GenGame,an energy app company to gain experience in programming and machine learning. She has now joined the Noël Research group to apply here expertise and new skills to chemical challenges in flow.
