Akshay Kumar Sadhoe was born in Amsterdam (Netherlands) in 1999, where he obtained his BSc degree in Chemistry at the UvA and VU. The bachelor thesis was about the synthesis of mechanically interlocked molecules, which was under supervision of prof. Dr. Jan van Maarseveen. Akshay is currently in the third year of his Chemistry master, following the track of molecular sciences. For his master thesis he joined the Noël research group to work on the amidation of gaseous alkanes, utilizing catalytic relay under supervision of Alberto Luridiana.
