Christiane Schotten

Christiane Schotten obtained her M.Sc. degree in chemistry at Aachen University (Germany). Her M.Sc. dissertation in the Laboratory of Chemical Process Engineering (AVT) was carried out on the topic “Investigating the role of mediators and catalyst materials during the electrochemical cleavage of lignin” under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Wessling.
Currently, she is a Ph.D. student at Cardiff University (UK) with the Browne Research group of Dr Duncan L. Browne. She works on the project “Multistep continuous flow processing for the preparation and consumption of diazonium salts”. She is now visiting the Noël Research Group for three months and is working on a project on flow electrochemistry.
