Megan Bryden was born and raised in County Durham, England, receiving her M.Chem degree in Chemistry from the University of Durham in 2018. This included completing her Masters project during an Erasmus year at the Université Grenoble Alpes, where her project was focused on luminescent redox probes based on lanthanide complexes. Upon completion of this, Megan was accepted into the CRITICAT CDT at the University of St Andrews, with her project centring on photocatalysis, under the supervision of Dr. Eli Zysman-Colman. Megan will complete a one month placement at TU/e where she will work on Stern-Volmer experiments.
