Wout Boon was born in Ghent, Belgium in 1994. He did his B.Sc. degree in 2015 in biomedical and laboratory technology at the KaHo Sint-Lieven. For his bachelor project, he worked on the expression of the Fkbp5 gene in mice, at the University of Uppsala in Sweden. After finishing his bachelor, he started the chemical engineering program. Currently, he is doing his master thesis in the group of Prof. Timothy Noël.
